Cabling FAQ

Common questions

Do I need Category 6 or Category 6A cable?

It depends on your bandwidth needs, but Cat6 works for most offices. If you're running a 10 gig network or high-performance Wi-Fi, you'll want Cat6A.

Can you work with our general contractor on a tenant improvement?

Yes. We coordinate with your GC, electrician and IT team, and schedule rough-in and trim-out around the construction timeline.

What types of organizations benefit from structured cabling?

Almost all of them. Structured cabling is simple to install, allows for future expansion and is easier to troubleshoot if network problems come up.

Do you provide test results and documentation?

Yes. Every link is certified, and you receive test reports and labeled as-built documentation when the job is done.
